Another acoustic extravaganza is an experiment in storytelling that links theory, poetry, the personal and the political, thus creating a fable about complexity and the rich heritage of discourses on complexity and transformative processes in sciences (namely zoology/biology) and the arts. Through storytelling and poetic theory I intend to deepen the practice of listening through form-finding, both textually and spatially, and in connection with the concept of collectivity.
In exploring modes of storytelling, I use a performative approach: speaking with my whole body, expressing my engagement with the text, making the recording a live event – always with listeners in mind, inviting listeners along the narrative. Without skimping on clarity or facts, I wish to allow room for listeners to draw personal conclusions, give vent to complexity, and invite us to turn from knowledge to thinking, affection and vision.
